Sinigang is a short story written by Marby Villaceran. It is all about the daughter,Liza and her Father who have affair to other woman. In the story, she is cooking Sinigang with her Tita Loleng. And then Tita Loleng ask questions. At first she went to her step brother’s funeral and then she met the woman. After her Dad went out of the room and tell sorry to her. And in the end of the story, Liza pictured out his family cooking together and eating together.

In the Philippines, it is known that Man have affairs with other Woman. You can see it in the teleseryes, novels and also in radio. The moral lesson that will learned in the story is be contented on what you have. Being not contented can ruin many things, especially relationships. Having an affair not only ruins Wife and Husband relationship but also with the kids. That’s why we should think first before we do something. Because in the end we might regret and the ending is the word sorry.

Cheating is a choice not a mistake. Every people have brain and works with the help of the heart. That’s why cheating will never be a mistake.

You can’t bring pleasure to your death but you can bring love.

We should accepted our wrong doings and admit it to yourself. Say sorry, because that one word sorry, can make someone let go of her/his bad feelings.

The Impact of the story to me brings so much emotion to me. Even though my Father is not like that, it still hurts me while thinking the same situation. She’s strong because she faced them. I felt sad to many broken families today. And I’m hoping that it will never happen to me. I’m scared because it is the always situation like you can see in Raffy Tulfo in Action. I don’t want to happen that to my soon kids because I will get more sad. Despite of the cliché theme of the story, it still gives spice to me. The creativity of writing and relating it to cooking of Sinigang makes me interested in the story. It shows good culture and bad culture of our country.
